Roundtable on Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare, Telemedicine and Smart Healthcare.

Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) organized the roundtable on Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare, Telemedicine and Smart Healthcare. As part of the BASIS SoftExpo 2023, the roundtable took place in Bangabandhu Bangladesh–China Friendship Exhibition Center, Purbachal, Dhaka at 11 am, 26th February 2023.  

The distinguished discussant of this event was Professor Dr. Fatema Ashraf, Former Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital.

The keynote presenter of this event was Mr. Furkan Hossain, Founder, HelloDoctor Asia. Mr. Moinul Haque Chowdhury, Co-Founder, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, CMED Health LTD. moderated this roundtable and welcomed everyone participating in this discussion.  

The distinguished discussant of this event Professor Dr. Fatema Ashraf suggests that the government should make a technical multidivisional panel to develop the health sector. 

The keynote presenter Mr. Furkan Hossain discussed about telemedicine sector and how Bangladesh can benefit a lot from it. 

According to Dr. Fahreen Hannan execution is the only gap between the health management system and patients. The government can help here to perform this execution. 

Every discussant expects more government focus in this sector, especially in telemedicine to make the project Smart Bangladesh 2041 succeed.
